The new Seven Wonders of the world - Vote for Taj

Guyz as u know only one of the Ancient wonders of the world still survives (i.e, Pyramid of Giza) – now history lovers are being invited to choose a new list of seven.

The new Seven Wonders of the World will be chosen on the basis of number of votes received from across the globe with the winning landmarks being announced in a live broadcast on July 7, 2007 in Portugal. The vote is being organized by a Swiss foundation called New7Wonders which specializes in the preservation, restoration and promotion of monuments, and the results will b announced on July 7, 2007, in Lisbon, Portugal, considered a neutral venue as the country has no contending landmark of its own.

The candidates for the new list have been already narrowed down to 21, including the Taj mahal, Stonehenge, The Acropolis and the Great Wall of China. The public can vote until july 6, 2007, by internet or phone.
